As of today, Thursday 14th May 2020, we enter Alert Level 2.
Essentially, for community sport, Level 2 is a 'Get Ready' phase followed by a 'Prepare to Play' phase.
Under the 'Get Ready' phase we are putting together robust health & safety measures in regards to contact tracing and sanitation measures. As Archer Stadium is undergoing maintenance, it is currently unavailable for bookings. We will update Facebook and our website when stadium bookings resume.
The 'Prepare to Play' phase means players and sports providers can start training in bubbles of ten people or less, but only within a controlled environment with the required health & safety measures in place. This will allow time for our administrator to communicate with teams / sports coordinators and for the committee to get a competition up and running. Sport NZ will indicate when bubble restriction may be loosened, and we will advise when this happens.
The 'Prepare to Play' period will give players time to return to training before the competitive season begins. This will help prevent injury.
Please be patient, stay well and train hard. We will see you all soon.
